"Light Rain Spells Expected in J&K; Farmers Advised to Resume Operations": MeT

Srinagar, April 9: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Thursday forecast a mix of light rain spells and generally dry weather across Jammu and Kashmir over the coming days, with a gradual rise in temperatures.

According to the forecast, April 9–10 is likely to witness brief spells of light rain or thundershowers at scattered places, particularly during the afternoon or late afternoon hours. Isolated areas may also experience hailstorms.

For April 11–12, the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy, with chances of brief light rain at a few locations towards late afternoon or evening.

A dry spell is predicted for April 13–14, bringing stable weather conditions across the region.

However, cloud cover is expected to return on April 15–16, with brief light rain spells at a few places during late afternoon or evening hours.

From April 17 to 20, the weather is likely to remain generally dry once again.
